(Mayver’s Dark Chocolate Super Spread is an all-natural
chocolate nut butter made from just chia, sesame, almond, cashews, peanuts, hazelnuts brazli nuts and natural dark chocolate!)
1 cup dates, pitted
1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup, agave syrup etc)
1/4 cup Mayver's Dark Chocolate Super Spread (could substitute any nut butter/spread)
3/4 cup raw hazelnuts
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1. Places oats on an oven tray and toast in the oven for around 15 minutes (180°C fan-forced)
2. Place dates in food processor and process until small bits remain and they start to form a ball. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and add oats and nuts. Mix well.
3. Warm honey and Mayver's Dark Chocolate Super Spread in a small saucepan on a medium heat. Pour over dry ingredients and stir quickly to evenly coat it.
4. Place in a tin (such as 20x20 cm or a loaf pan) lined with baking paper. Press mixture in firmly.
5. Put in freezer for 15 minutes and then remove and cut into pieces.
6. Store in airtight container in the fridge to keep fresh or in the freezer if you would like them to last longer.
