Caramel Biscuits


✦ Makes about 24 biscuits
Variation of original recipe - Choc Chip Biscuits

Ingredients
◇ 125g butter
 1/2 cup caster sugar
◇ 1 3/4 cups SR flour
◇ 1 egg
◇ 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
◇ 250g caramel chips

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°c (fan forced).
2. Beat butter and sugar together in an electric mixer.
3. Add egg, vanilla and caramel chips and stir well.
4. Add flour and mix into a stiff paste.
5. Take small spoonfuls of mixture and roll into balls.
6. Place on a tray and press out lightly with a floured fork.
7. Bake in a moderate oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
