Ingredients
◇ 1 1/2 cups mashed banana (about 4 small ones or 2 larger)
◇ 1/2 cup sugar
◇ 1/4 cup brown sugar
◇ 113g butter
◇ 1/4 cup milk
◇ 1 large egg
◇ 1/2 cup plain flour
◇ 1 1/2 teaspoons bi-carb soda
◇ 1 teaspoon salt
◇ 3/4 cup chocolate chips
◇ 1/2 cup pecans, chopped roughly
Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 7cm-deep, 8cm x 19cm (base) loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, stir together banana, sugars, butter, milk and egg. In another bowl, whisk together flour, bi-carb soda and salt
3. Make a well in the wet ingredients and pour in the dry ingredients. Stir well.
4 Mix in the chocolate chips and pecans.
5. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
6. Let cool for 15 minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
